Anastasiya Cederstrema  is a surface and Interior designer who aims to seek out unconventional materials and techniques to combine them in new ways. She is a process led thinker with a ‘hands–on’ approach to designing functional and decorative products. She likes to learn and gain ideas through experimentation, which pushes her to create innovative designs.

 

Her goal as a designer is to keep historic values alive by giving them a new life in a modern context. For centuries, without modern technology, people worked wonders and created sophisticated interior decorations. Thus, in each of her works, she uses a combination of hand craft techniques with mordent technology. 

Her experience involves creating unique and exclusive, decorative finishes from a variety of surfaces such as metal, leather, mirror and wood within private residences and commercial interiors.
